Baseball Coaches
Coach John Berti (C.M.U. ‘84, M.U. ‘85) is beginning his 20th season as head baseball coach at DCA. John played baseball at Central Michigan University and was a graduate assistant at Miami University (Ohio). Coach Berti also coached at Trevecca University before coming to DCA. The Wildcats, under his leadership, have compiled a record of 309 wins and 190 defeats. Coach Berti was awarded the District 8AA Coach of the Year in 2007 and Sectional Coach of the Year in 2005. He was voted District 7A Coach of the Year in 1996 and 1995, Metro Coach of the Year in 1993, and Statewide Coach of the Year in 1990. Mr. Berti is the Assistant Director of Athletics, teaches Bible, and coaches Middle School Football.
Coach Jeremy Martin (FWBBC ’05) is beginning his 2nd season as assistant varsity baseball coach at DCA. Jeremy played baseball at Free Will Baptist Bible College and was an assistant coach there for one year. Coach Martin teaches Physical Science (8th grade), is the Head Coach of the Middle School Football team, and the Defensive Line Coach for the Varsity Football team.
