2007 Wildcat Marching Band

DCA offers band from the 6th grade (beginning band) through 12th grade. The 7th – 12th grades participate together in both the Marching Band and Concert Band.  Under the teaching direction of Kristen Folsom,  the Wildcat Marching Band is very active in the fall, playing at all football games to support the team, and competing in several competitions in October each year. The WMB has set high standards in competitions through the years with 1st Place awards for the entire band and best of show and superior rankings for guard, drum line and field commander within their division. They were also a Finalist band in the Tennessee Division I State Championship in 2002. The Concert Band performs 2 big concerts a year – one at Christmas and one in the spring. They also participate in the MTSBOA State Concert Festival and other local and National festivals, where they have always earned Superior ratings for their performances.
