The Greatest Gift: I Corinthians 13:1-13 is my favorite scripture. Verse one and eleven are key verses for me personally. I am reminded in verse one that the difference between what I say and do is of major importance. "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal." (I Cor. 13:1) Verse eleven reminds me that legitimate differences exist between the way children see the world around them and the way adults should see and understand the world. "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things". (I Cor. 13:11)
