The Extended Care Program is available for the convenience of students enrolled at the school and their parents. The program is licensed by the State of Tennessee and limits class size to state requirements. Students must be pre-registered before entering the program. Care for a limited number of days in an emergency can be arranged through the extended care director or through the elementary office if space is available. Payment for services and registration is made through the Extended Care office.
Hours for the program are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The program is open for pre-registered students during teacher in-service, snow days, and most days of Christmas and spring vacations. A summer camp program is also available. Please refer to the school calendar for days when the service is not available. DCA reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose conduct jeopardizes the integrity of the school or welfare of others.
2008-2009 Extended Care Fees
Payment is expected for the week when your child attends even 1 day. No payment is due when your child misses the whole week.

Payment is due on Monday for that week.
Summer Program Fees
5 days per week $115.00 per week
4 days per week $110.00 per week

1 day per week $40.00 per week
Registration fee - $55.00 per family (must be enclosed with enrollment form).
School holidays, snow days, etc. - The rate will be the same as the summer program. For example, if your child comes 3 days one week of Christmas break, your fee would be $95.00 for that week. For snow days add $18.00 a day.

5 days..$135.00 per week
4 days..$125.00 per week
3 days...$100.00 per week
2 days...$70.00 per week
Preschool Registration Fee - $65.00 per family (non-refundable)
Late payment charge - $10.00 for payment after noon on Tuesdays.
Late Pick-up fee - $2.00 per minute after 6:00 p.m.
Returned Check fee - $36.00
Any account more than two weeks past due will result in dismissal from the program.
