"To Know Christ and to Make Him Known"

Mary Belle Melvin
Director Spiritual Life

DCA desires that students love the Lord with all their heart; love their friends as their own self; become like Christ in their conduct, thoughts and decisions; and discover their strengths and talents in service for the Lord.

We believe the battle for our children is at the forefront of the church today and is positively impacted when schools are aligned with Christian home and church teachings. We believe their Christian foundation becomes stronger when social interaction and academic excellence are not compromised. This environment enables our students to better integrate the Biblical worldview in all areas of their life.

DCA strives to uniquely serve families and support churches by many different programs. We invite youth pastors to regularly visit our campus and notify a student’s church after a spiritual decision. We attempt to have engaging chapel guest speakers and music groups, and provide students the opportunity for spiritual growth through fall and spring retreats. We intentionally integrate the Biblical worldview throughout all curriculum areas and encourage students to view all life’s situation through the eyes of Christ. We pray for and with students on a regular basis and provide ongoing opportunities for community Christian service.

I thank you for entrusting your children with the faculty and staff of DCA and pray that they may grow to be resound in their faith, sharpened in their God-given talents, and be dedicated to the Lord for service.
